Decepções

Decepção 1:
Descobri que depois de trabalhar esses anos todos como comerciaria aqui na Inglaterra, eu não vou poder contar esse tempo de serviço pra quando eu me aposentar.
Quando voltamos de Portugal eu transferi o meu tempo de trabalho sem problemas. Mas o tempo trabalhado aqui vai ficar perdido.
Por que?
Bem, essa é uma ótima pergunta! Já que Brasil e Reino Unido possuem relações diplomáticas e levando em conta a quantidade de brasileiro que vive e trabalha por aqui, seria de se esperar que uma situação básica dessas fosse considerada.
Falei com o consulado brasileiro, e eles dizem que não tem jeito, mas pra consultar o INSS. Minha mãe passou uma manhã inteira tentando falar com alguém e, ou ninguém atende aos telefones, ou ninguém sabe de nada. Típico!
Estou mesmo muito chateada com isso.

Decepção 2:
O verão acabou! Ta escuro, ta chovendo e ta frio. Isso pra mim é inverno.

Disappointments
Disappointment 1:
I’ve found out that after working all these years here in England, I won’t be able to add this time for when I retire.
When we left Portugal I was able to transfer the amount of time I’ve worked to Brazil. But here, all this time was wasted. Why? Well, good question! Brazil and United Kingdom have diplomatic relations and also, considering the amount of Brazilians living and working here, it was expected that something as simple as that was already sorted.
I’ve spoken to the Brazilian Council and they said that there’s nothing to be done, but to get in touch with the Brazilian Inland Revenue. My Mum spent an entire morning trying so and either nobody picked the phone or nobody would know what to say. That’s typical! And I’m very upset with this.

Disappointment 2:
Summer has finished! It’s dark, it’s raining and it’s cold. To me, this is winter.
